We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this cozy cabin in Minnesota! The views were absolutely beautiful—perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets—and there was no shortage of things to do, both at the cabin and in the surrounding area. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge.

The WiFi connection was a bit spotty at times, but since we were really trying to unplug, it didn’t bother us much. In fact, it kind of added to the charm of getting away from it all.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape!

Love this resort! We stayed there twice this summer and enjoyed every minute! It is such a peaceful place, the cabins are very clean and the beds are so comfy. Susan is such a wonderful host and was very responsive to our needs. Can't wait to go back and enjoy this little slice of heaven again.

Great place to go if you want to be in the woods and have a beautiful Lake

It's 30 minutes from Itasca State Park and 10-20 from tons of restaurants and shops. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The beach was well maintained and had a ton of water toys to play with.
I even saw a family of otters come out from under the dock and swim away!! We will definitely be back.

We just spent a delightful weekend at West Crooked Lake resort... very impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail in all aspects! From the high quality towels, to the beautiful chairs on the beach, all extras provided, quality pans and utensils in the cabin... Nothing was missed to make our stay enjoyable. Even DVDs, TV that works, and ice cream :) We Loved It and will return...

Beautiful, quiet resort! Perfect for families

We had an absolutely wonderful family get together at West Crooked Lake Resort! We rented the tiny house, tiny cabin, and camper 13. The house and cabin were perfect for the kids and grandkids, and the camper had the best view of the lake! Also rented a pontoon for a couple days. The lake is crystal clear, and the fishing was outstanding! The grandkids especially loved swimming and jumping off the water trampoline at the resort. The owners went out of their way to help us with anything that was needed. Great experience for all of us!!!!!

Our family of four had an amazing time at the resort! Cabin 4 had everything we needed and was a beautifully decorated cabin! We fished off the pontoon and had a blast with all the beach toys! We highly recommend!

We loved tiny, perfectly appointed, Cabin #1. It had everything a couple could want in a long weekend getaway for fall color peeping. We didn’t find anything missing and wanted for nothing. Close to Lake Itasca State Park but off the beaten path and far enough away from towns to feel very private and Northwoods perfect! We loved that this cabin had a little private fire pit and was 10 ft from the lakeshore. We will come back for sure.

Beautiful view of lake,clean area, friendly staff!

Great place to visit and stay with the family. Quiet with a few small beachfronts that the kids loved. Free non-powered watercraft to use and the powered rentals are in great shape. Didn't want to post a review because of how great this place is! :)

Clearly the best place to go for rest, fun, relaxation! Going back next year!!!

I hesitate to review because this place is a hidden gem and I don't want the word to get out to the masses! We rented camper #6. We were greeted very quickly by the hosts who oriented us to our camper and made sure we had everything we needed. The camper was clean and had all the basic necessities. The information sent prior to arrival and the "plan your stay" section of the website were both very helpful in making sure we knew what to expect. We bought our groceries and supplies and got our fishing licenses in Park Rapids on the way in. We enjoyed the free use of canoes, paddle boats, paddle boards, kayaks and floating trampoline. We also rented a pontoon and a fishing boat during our stay. When the pontoon had mechanical issues, we were offered an alternate for the day. Both Susan and Brian checked in and chatted periodically to make sure we were set. We purchased firewood in advance and it was waiting for us when we arrived. Susan had great recommendations for restaurants in Nevis and we also enjoyed pizza from a nearby (15 min) restaurant. Overall, this was one of the best driving distance vacations we have had in many years. Can't wait to come back for next year!!
